Morning light in Wat Koktad
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Wat Koktad is a short drive away from Phutoei Natural Park in Suphan Buri. Remotely away from cities and major road, this temple is sourrouded by hills and tropical jungle. A magic place to be...
The week end I went there, a local market was around the temple... farmers were selling their good, fishermen were showing their fresh products and stands were cooking local specialities... a very lively, colorful environment... and the monastry, with monks to their daily lives, in the peaceful darkness of their old traditional thai temple... with this light stepping softely to enlight the colors of their robes... a very inspiring moment....
Note: once more, with the low light condition, I used my D200's spot metering facility to take a reading from the robes, chosing to retain the detail in the highlights and allowing the darkest areas of the composition to go closer to black. |

Bonsoir Vincent,
Bon week-end,
Gérard
Hi Vincent.
Exceptional imprinting of morning lighting.
Very good the spot choice of photometer. The details to the towels are perfect.
Very good POV and colours supplement your composition.
Regards
Kostas
Beau travail.
