Vow. Your portrait shots are getting better and better, Manny. This is one of your best shots, absolutely. Well, one of the best potraits I´ve seen on TE. The expression on her face is just amazing. Beautiful light and tones, great simple background and excellent framing. You really were at the right place at the right time – and captured that unique moment very-very well.

Superb sharpness around the eyes & face, & great dof, but this has a faint cyan / green color cast. You've done a pretty good job of burning the highlights. I had to look twice.

It is difficult to tell which came first, the discerning note or the mesmerizing photo. Your images of people in the world seem to come from someplace deep within yourself, as though you see people, feelings, moods about which you know and then capture the moment to share with all of us. Your photos are an expression not only of your talent as a photographer but of your vision of the world. This is a lovely image, wonderfully composed and as evocative as your note. Very well done.

wow, Manny this is again one of the best shot you have published so far for me... the compo works great, the color of the BG and the orange dress or Tshirt, the look she has... all is spot on! what touches me from the start withthis protrait is the combination of an almost grey/brown BG, skin and environment together with this orange tone... it is so strong!!!;-)) a AAA shot my friend! direct in my favorites!!!

Very nice shot Manny. In many ways, this is a typical Manny shot, but in som ways different as well. To me, this is not quite as intimate a crop as you often produce and the colors are a little more subdued too. None of this is good, nor bad just differences I notice. The sharpness of the face, together with even the hands falling outside of the DOF make me think your choice of aperture was bang on. Perhaps I wish her elbows weren't quite cropped where they are, but the expression and detached look of the girl are just so impressive. Very good shot Manny.

This is very captivating - her totally detached expression, the posture of her hands and elbows, and the sparkle of light in her eyes. Very good sharpness, and well captured against the simple, almost b&w background. This is again above average for you, Manny, which by all means is as high a standard as one can look for here on TE.

Amazing eyes, very enigmatic, very innocent, very untainted, quite happy to sit and ponder without feeling the need to be doing anything, aah the beauty of childhood.
Great composition and excellent use of DOF isolating the eyes by crisp focusing.
