The "dried squid" girl
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| A fisherman market in Samut Songkhram... a beautiful vista on the endless green sea of the Golf of Thailand... A lunch in a humble restaurant serving local specialities... and this young girl selling her dried squids... her beautifull eyes and simple smile at the light of he gentle sun... |

Superbe regard que celui de cette fille. J'ai lu que tu voulais des "critiques" mais je ne peux que te féliciter pour ce portrait N&B.
Hi Vincent,
Nice one! Love portraits in landscape layout. Black and white the right choice here I guess, with great detail in her face. The background is slightly on the dark side, making a difficult to see the difference between the hair and the background at some point. i'm wondering if that could have been handled with the colour sliders when desaturating in photoshop.
Great detail, wonderful format. Can you upload the colour version to the workshop for comparison!? Thanks!
Have a good weekend!
Dennis

A beautiful portrait!! I like the B&W here. I like the expression you captured here. TFS
A nice clear portrait, Vincent, and I like the black and white conversion. The off centre framing works great as always.
Thanks,
Dave
