Taken at Ban Kung Nam resort at Samut Sakhon province only 1 hour drive outside Bangkok.
Went to see the fireflies from here on a canal off the mighty Mekong River.
Next day the resort owner organised a trip down river to see many wild birds, including kingfishers, herons, waders etc.
Very relaxing and enjoyable. |

Hi John,
I think that you may want to edit your notes. Samut Sakhon is near Maenam Tha Chin, which is a branch of the Maenam Chao Phraya. The Mekong is quite far from this place.
Nice shot, though. Looks like a nice place to stay. Might have to go there next time I'm in the area.
