| Fresh crabs, tied-up and on display in one of Mahachai's numerous seafood stalls. This town should be a "must" for all serious Thai seafood lovers (and railroad enthusiasts). |

Interesting graphic observation. Well seen, wish I'd had crab.
The place, though is Samut Songkhram. Mahachai is Thai for 'short line', so the sign above the station at the SS end of the line says 'short line railway station'. I made the same mistake myself, I was quite surprised that I hadn't, in fact, ended up at Samut Songkhram, which was where I thought I'd bought a ticket to, and there seemed no way to continue further by train :-)
