We believe you as long as he is not riding that bike you posted before, once out of the boat! :-)))
You are correct, it is very cinematic, but not just the format, like a still from a thai movie about ghosts too.
As a picture, it stands qute well, and how wonderful you could get him going thru that light, which does wonder to the folds of the robe, besides his face.
One can regret the busy background, If I may say, you could easily desaturate that red there, I think it would help, but again, IMO.
Hi Ken,
A fantastic image of this monk who does seem to be in "his own world"....nice expression captured on his face, and the beam of lighting is perfect. Good shot.
Cheers Grant
Again your small panoramic format is paying big dividends, Ken... We have seen enough Damnoen Saduek floating mart pics to last a life time...until this one comes along. Less is more seems to be your motoo but again one needs to know exactly what to select and what to leave out, and you've got that down.
Best,
Francis
Incongruous pano framing, most inspiring, the perspective diagonal line pointing to your main target enlightened with a diagonal orkestrated ray of light and the contrasting colors blue-oker and the OOF background for the life, all enriching elements making this shot a pleasure to look at, well done Ken, this one is not private :))
greetings
Henk

Hi Ken,
there might be many photos from this place, but I don't see many that look like this... This photo is kinda weird. It lloks a bit like what I would imagine in some movie on mythology. A good guy paddle on the river of hell or something like that... OK, i'm being weird now...
Well done!
Nicolas
