Rainy walk

Here’s one of my fav of the moment.
Not really perfect as technically speaking, like the too close alignement of the boat and the island in the back, but i do love this stolen moment.
It was taken in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, on the Dolphin bay beach near Pranburi, just 40 mins south of famous Hua Hin, between Khao Sam Roy Yot mounts and the Siam Gulf of Thailand.
The spot is great, the beach is 5km long, with small rough cut mounts (Khao SamRoy Yot meaning 300 peaks mountains) along Birman border, falling to the sea on the opposite side, no huge cities around but Hua Hin, PranBuri and Chumphon.
The province contains the narrowest part of Thailand - directly south of the capital it is just 13 kilometers from the coast of the Gulf of Thailand to the border with Myanmar.
It is also the location of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park which was the first coastal national park of Thailand.
On another awful rainy afternoon (i did never have a so horrible weather during 3 consecutive weeks in the land of smile), a mother and daughter were peacefully walking on the beach whatever the weather. Usually in this period, umbrellas are used against sun, not rain…
I love her hand slightly laid on her daughter shoulder and the whole atmosphere of the scene.
I wish i had seen them a bit earlier to be just less behind before shooting… |

Bonjour Nicolas,
moi je la trouve sympa cette photo.Peut-être un léger travail au niveau des contrastes la mettrait en valeur, ainsi qu'un cadrage plus sérré.Je t'envoie une WS.
Amicalement.
