[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Maybe one day I'll stop posting pictures of Hua Hin station, for now though, I've still a few more to go. I really like the way they organise SRT stations, and and especially all the implcations that these signs have, the one in the front in particular, and the lower one in black, indicating the the assistant station master has his own office.

interesting richard, i do admire you for your fascination about the railways and everything that is connected with them;
this station looks like THE place to spend a day or two and photograph the place;
best wishes, j.

Hi Richard

Good repetition of the signs with marvellous linear perspective. Looks like a mirror trick! Well seen!

Hi Richard,
Very colourful, very informative. Maybe even too much colour to my personal taste, but it seems to be typical for Thailand. I'm not sure about the framing at bottom, this seems sort of cut in half.

I know surpsisingly many people who in our modern times instead choosing fast and comfortable plane, prefer travelling by train. It is partly because of their fear of flying, partly because they have a feeling that they come back to some ritual of journey.. Everybody wants to go by Orient Express. at least once..
Like your picture.. nice red.. charming elegance of English inscriptions taken from colonial world of English gentleman..
with regards, Agnieszka

Good observation, Richard, and a nice graphical effect resulting from this unique arrangement of colorful signs along the train station. It seems like a photographically very rewarding place and I appreciate your ongoing coverage. Assistant station master at Hua Hin sounds like an easygoing career but I might be wrong ;)
