[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Loy Krathong is a festival celebrated annually throughout Thailand. It is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November. Loy is Thai for "float", and a Krathong is a small basket or boat made of a slice of banana tree trunk decorated with folded banana leaves, flowers, incense sticks and candles. Floating one of these Krathongs serves a dual purpose - first, to give thanks to the water goddess, and second to let go of bad things and bring good luck.

In the run-up to the festival, various components to make your own Krathong (the banana tree trunk pieces, and incense sticks and candles in paper flower holders like these) start to appear for sale in the market.

Hello Charlotte

The thumbnail is very eye-catching with all these vivid colors.
It's a great composition. The diagonal line you've created by the tilt gives a very dynamic image and the DOF is excellent.
Very nice and original composition. Copmliments.

Karine
