Photographer’s Note
Daily life of schoolgirls from a jerry built school at Palai Japan Mon village which is in a remote area controlled by New Mon State Party, an armed Mon ceasefire group.
The dress the girls wearing, the notebooks (slate or Kyauk-thin-bon) on their tables may not be compared with computer notebooks of US schoolgirls. But they are cute, lovely and innocent even they dont have a chance to school in Mon State, motherland in Burma which is ruled by military junta.
