Photographer’s Note
there are two bridges across the lake in sangklaburi. i wanted to cross one of them, which is very old and wooden, with my bicyle. the man on the picture was a kind of keeper, he came towards me and told me that bicycles are not allowed on the bridge. he was very kind but had this sad expression on his face that touched me. so i asked him if i could take a photo of him.

hi juliette,
I guess that an explanatory note would have been well-accepted (at least to understand why you decided to take a picture of this man), but apart from that I find the portrait very intense and very expressive. I guess we can all read in his face and in his eyes something that touches us.
the sharpness is very good and the blurred background enhances the portrait, also chromatically.
