| A Mon ethnic schoolgirl from Palai Japan village, Sankhalaburi District, near Thai-Burma border. The village is fully controlled by the New Mon State Party, an armed ceasefire ethnic group. Mon people originally live in Mon State in Burma but many of them fled to Thailand due to what they claimed, oppresive behaviour of Burmese army. |
