This is my latest visit to Wat Pho(Wat Phra Chetuphon). Many year ago, when i study in university near Wat Pho.I'm usaully visited this place for classwork or my pleasure in traditional massage(cheap&great result).

In that time, they're just start the visiting Thailand year promotion, almost area of Wat Pho still quiet. The area that quite busy and still busy today is the reclining buddha temple and Thai traditional massage school. My latest visit was started in late afternoon on sunday.Tourist group had drop to a small number that i feel like the old day(i took my canon F-1new that i used to in old day) and start taking a photo.I'm still start at my favourite place, the reclining buddha temple, this photo was a 2nd shot of this temple.

This picture first take in a negative color film(fuji superia 200)and when it scanned.I'm almost like composition of this picture than another in this roll. But i can't solve a problem in hightlight area that greenish look.So i turn it to B&W by desaturate in CS2.

For your information of the story of the reclining buddha temple or Phra Buddhasaiyas (Viharn Phranorn),King Rama III told his nobleman, Krom Muen Pumintarapakdi (Prince Laddawan), the head of department of the Ten Crafts as a construction team leader. After having moulded the image of the Reclining Buddha, the team continued with the hall. The image was made of stuccoed bricks gilded with gold leaves. This statue is 46 metres long, with the dimensions at the face of 15 metres high and at each foot of 3 metres high and 5 metres long.Derive from www.watpho.com and hope you enjoy;-)
