[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This tug looked far too small to be pulling three huge (empty) barges along a busy part of the river flowing through Bangkok city. The tall tower beyond is a Wat temple, one of many around the Chao Phraya River

Because of the many canals know as khlong, Bangkok was once dubbed "Venice of the East"

Rivers and canals here have always been vital forms of communication.

Hi Murray, I like the composition here with the small tug pulling that huge set of barges. The shot has good detail, but I found it light and the colour tone seemed off a bit, probably the mid hot afternoon sun was a contributing factor, so I've gone off to play in the sandbox to see if we could come up with another option.

Thanks, John

Hi Murray,

A good comparison a small tug pulling a set of large barges. The point of view leads our eyes towrads the temple in the background. The subject is well framed. The high sun has a negative impact on the colors. The workshop of John is showing another option. Have a nice day.

Pierre
