Excerpts from Arts in Thailand - Thailand.com
Traditional Thai architecture is the result of a combination of many different styles, methods and influences. At various stages down the years, the cultures of Burma, China, Khmer, India and Sri Lanka, can all be seen to have had an important and distinctive influence on architecture in Thailand. Most recently even western neoclassical styles and features have been adopted, following visits to Europe by early Thai kings and from the European expatriate's presence in Thailand. Nevertheless, overall the architectural style remains instantly identifiable and unquestionably Thai.

Hi Miguel
Welcome in TE
Very nice shot of this temple
Sharpness is good and the DOF is perfect.
Thank you for sharing
Alain

Another wonderful composition of the same subject.
All I said about your first photo apply to this one too.
By the way, the rule of setting the subjet to one side (see criticism to your previous photo) is not aappropriate here with this marvellous temple which should be in the center.
Ciao,
Donato

Welcome to TE, Miguel.

Though new, but you have excellent photos. Really sharp, good DOF and well managed lighting. Would be nice if you had include the minaret in full in the reflection.

Regards
Alfred

Hi Miguel,
I really like the near perfect symetry in the image and the composition is excellent. The reflection amongst the water lilies provides nice additional interest. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Miguel,
Wonderful composition with stunning details to the old temple. The colors are crystal clear and the reflection very striking. The lush green lilly pads contrast beautifully with the pale blue sky.
Regards, Tom

this is an amazing structure and marvelous architecture. It is hard to believe that it is on the river. the reflection and the leaves add impression to the photo. nice POV and DOF.

Hello Miguel,

Thailand is a captivating kaleidoscope of colours, tastes and smells. A treat for the senses. I like how this image helps to set this atmosphere. The reflection of the Wat into the still tropical water is wonderful - peaceful and tranquil, according to the teachings of the Buddha. I think that to even make this shot better a bit more space would need to be provided to capture the spire reflected wholly in the water. A pleasant capture, no doubt.

Matt

Hello Miguel,
Beautiful composition, colours, reflections & clarity are outstanding.
Thanks

Hi Miguel, Magnificent reflections, the lotuses are enricging the composition very much.
Cheers..

VERY impressive shot there, the reflection on water is almost always a winning combination. Too bad it's so rare, but thankfully you masterfully captured it!

Hi Miguel,
A very nice shot of this wonderfull plac. I like the reflection in the water especially
Have a nice day
Greetings
Griet

Very nice contrast in the sky, I like how the lilies fill the water without disturbing the reflection, maybe the top of the spire is too close to the edge of the frame, but I undersatnd the choice, it was better not to sacrifice from the reflection at the bottom.

Hi Miguel,
Good pov to show a pavillion on the water, good balancing of symmetri and great reflection, nice color and good sharpness, thanks for sharing the history about art of Thai architecture.

Very nice catch of such beautiful reflections. I like the overal darkness on the water. Very well done.

Hi Miguel
This is a lovely reflection photo which creates a sense of beauty and serenity. The rich colours in teh water contrast well with the stark whiteness on the temple. Great shot!
Lyndall

Hi Miguel, The reflections of this beautiful structure gives a most powerful effect. Good POV and clarity. TFS. Murray.

Hello Miguel
The luminosity and contrast are giving a special atmosphere to the image and I like the way the temple is reflecting in the mirror like pond with the lotus leaves on the surface of the water. Just a pity you did not get fully the spire, but that' not a big issue...The smooth texture of the water is fine.
Cheers
Marilyn

Hello Miguel,

I ike the way they build their palaces and temples in the middle of little lagoons. The reflections are enhanced by the good light. Your perspective is effective also to show us a frontal view of the building. Good sharpness and colours. Thanks Miguel.

Roberto

Hell Miguel. Pristine image capturing this lotus in excellent sharpness and pleasant reflection. Well done and best regards. Jusni
