a lovely first shot. that building is very pretty and you took a very decent shot of it; sharp, wonderfull colours and a nice blue sky.

if i may make a few suggestions for future photographs: there is a kind of natural law in photography that objects such as this look more romantic or more interesting when they are placed to one side of the composition. in this case for instance, perhaps it would have been a nice composition if the structure was on the right half of the photograph and more of the water or stream would be visible on the left.

personally i also find that photographs with the central object right in the middle are also attractive, provided that the object is symmetrical and it is photographed dead on (which you almost manage do here, but not quite).

of course the important thing is for you to make compositions that you think are pretty, so you should never take comments like mine as critisism, mearly as pointers and tips.

Miguel,
Welcome to TE! This is a very good 1st post, I hope you will give us many more in the future.
Your composition is fine with the centered pagoda well framed by trees and shrubs. It might make a better photo if the pagoda was placed to one side of the frame and we were allowed to see more of the gardens on the other. The lighting and colors are very good as in the sharpness and DOF.
In all a very fine photo!

Asa

Hello Miguel, great clarity, very beautiful colors and very nice light in your shot. I like your balanced composition too. Although the pagoda is centrally placed in the frame the composition is still interesting. The sharpness is also very good. Thanks for sharing. Greetings,
Kostas.

Hi Miguel,
this one is a very good shot. I like the central composition, with lots of plants, trees and bushes surrounding the building. Colours are well saturated. Good job!
Thanks for sharing

Hello Miguel,
Really good composition here preserving the symmetry and foreground interest. Vibrant greens add to the charm of the place. Could try moving the levels down to control the whites. Regards,
Hakan

Hello Miguel,

Very nice gazebo with the traditionsl looking Thai roof. The image is very pretty and well composed. The colours and sharpness look great and the subject very attractive. Nice centering as well. Thanks Miguel.

Hi Miguel,
I stay so many times and so long in Bangkok, but i never been to Suan Luang (same place as the night market?) IT doesn't seem to be in the city , but rather a temple in the countryside. Colors and sharpness are excellent... the framing may have given a better visual impact if less centered but still a very nice picture... i'm going there tomorrow!
Greetings from Bangkok
Laurent

Nice light is a bit harsh, nice sky, at first I wanted to suggest a less centred subject, but since the surroundings are somewhat symmetrical, it works in this case.

Hi Miguel,

First of all all my congratulations for your splendid album. Here the surrounding greenery magnificiently emphasizes this beautiful pagoda. This cloudy sky gives an appreciable complementary relief. For my part centering does not obstruct me at all. Thank you Miguel.

With all my friendships and a very good WE,

Jean-Charles
