a girl i met at the beach in hua hin. she was playing along with the many other kids. i singled her out for this tightly crop portrait because there is something in her eyes that tells a story. i took this from a higher POV.

Hi Manny. After your many superb, amazing, beautiful ect. ect. portraits of Rosalinda this little girl has a though act to follow :o) Or I guess it is you who has a tough job at hand, maybe it is because I don't feel like I know her, a priviledge I get from so many of your portraits. She is very beautiful, her eyes are full of expression and do tell a story I just think that maybe with a bit more background maybe some of the other kids I would have more to tell that story. That being said, as I've said so many times before ALL your pictures are in a league I will never be in, so thank you :o)

This kind of portrait is like a signature. Something very hard to obtain in photography: a style. Excellent job. Can you elaborate about the BW technique?

A typical Manny signature shot. Wonderful portrait! You have perfectly chosen the title "in her eyes"-there is something in the eyes. You have captured her well, and I will like to say that you have something in your eyes too-in terms of picking your subjects. Nice shot. Don't you think that keeping the full face, instead of cropping her chin in order to make a tight crop would have been better? What is your opinion on that?

Manuel, your portraits are very professional and your gallery on treklens are great too. I like your photos style and also the magic ilumination you have on all of them.
This one has culture and a theme that contain hapiness. It has a very atractive scene of this person with poor eyes and full of brightness. Very worked picture.
Taking about the techniques it is full of technical effects that help to the composition. The pov or the blur on the background looks very well.
I think that the name has a good conection with the picture. Congratulations!
Continue posting pictures like this one.

Great portrait. Good capture of expression present in the eyes of that innocent girl. Perfect choice of B/W. TFS.
