The Wat Arun is a Buddhist Temple in Bangkok, Thailand. Decorated by small pieces of porcelain and seashells, the temple is also popularly known as the “Temple of Dawn”. Wat Arun derived its name from the Hindu god Aruna, which represent the radiations of the rising sun. The Temple can easily be reached through the Chao Phraya River.
To see how the Temple seems to reach the sky, I decided to take a photo using the “worm’s eye view”.

the amount of different ornamentations and decorations is overwhelming here.Really beautiful temple-nicely shown by you!
Certainly your upward perspective is here a good solution to present the temple in whole its glory.
Have a nice weekend

Dear Michelle, this is a funny anecdote! So you really were a tomboy! Excellent view of that temple tower, precise patterns and work of the stones as lace

I know this temple well, I climbed up it a few years ago.
Your photo shows the girth, the power and its rustic beauty.

Your wormseye view has worked well, giving an epic sense of scale to this temple, and showing in fine detail how much craftsmanship has gone into creating it! A really beautiful place and a grand way to portray it. Love that sky too, a great compliment to your photo.
All the best
