I met these two women in a busy quarter of Bangkok. They were roasting sweet potatoes, bananas and other fruits to sell. What really got my attention was the headband. I took a few photos while they were busy, as they didn't seem to apprecciate cameras that much. Here's one of them!

Cute photo of daily life in Thailand. It is amazing as these warm people work day after day making a life for themselves and families. I am sure the bananas are good. It is true that many do not wish to have their photos taken ... religious concepts mostly. I lived here three years and enjoyed the people and their daily lives. Nice normal life photo. TFS

Bonne scène de vie. Un curieux décor capillaire sur la tête de la cuisinière!

Glad you persevered even though they may not have been pleased with the camera... I would have felt guilty and given in without a clear and excellent shot like this one. Nice colors and expressions, action, and certainly an eye-catching headband! Thanks!

Ola dear Ana
Ahhh yummy, now you've made me hungry! The street food of Asia is my favourite part of the trip. You illustrate the tastes, smells, busy-ness and unique people of the street markets so well. The food looks delicious, I thought they were dumplings, but on reading your note, I see that they are roasted fruits. Double yummy!
Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day
