Photographer’s Note
Some weeks ago I uploaded the photograph of Bangkok's Wat Yannawa, a downtown Thai Buddhist monastery at the Chao Phraya Kings River only a few steps from the next BTS Skytrain station. This Wat is nicknamed by locals the boat Wat but the picture I presented first, did not show the famous Chinese junk because I was not happy with what I had in archive. However I promised to upload it later and here it is.
The two chedis on deck of the stone boat represent the masts and the altar to the rear, the wheel house. Because of this, the locals call the temple “sampao chedi” or the Chinese junk with chedis. The "boat" is facing the Chao Phraya river.

Namaste Urs,
Nice composition. The cyclist looks fantastic with the backdrop of the famous temple and the modern building. Again your favourite vertical framing cause another nice photo. Nice sky in background. Your light management is very good here. Tfs.
Have a nice time.

ciao Urs,
mi piace questa immagine ben composta con le bandiere che ben riempiono l'inquadratuta.
Il ragazzo soggetto dello scatto ha alle spalle un interessante architettura.
Buona la luce.
saluti

Hi Urs,
All the brilliant gold trim to the intricately designed temple gets a lovely compliment from the light blue sky.
The young man on the bicycle really draws the eye nicely toward the lovely architecture.
Regards, Tom
