Rays of Light

Here's one artistique picture from me. I was in a cab, and there are some lights ahead so I figured I could get a creative pic out of this, so here it is. I took the camera up, turned on the AS feature to minimize the shake, but to make it still be there to create
some mood due to the 3 second shutter speed. I don't usually take this kind of picture so you're free to comment. I wrote about taxi cab in Thailand in my last post, but to make it easy. I'll post it again.
-----------------
These typical Bangkok cab like this Toyota Altis can be rented out from the taxi renting place for 550 per shift. The driver has to pay for the gas themself, so the cost per day is around 800 baht, anything after that it's their profit.
It's amazing how Taxi Meter in Thailand managed to stay the same price since the beginning when it was introduced. It's mainly because they use gas instead of gasoline. With the gasoline approaching 28 baht a litre these days, and gas at only 8-9 baht per litre, it's such a bargain for these drivers! The cost of driving these taxis are not affecting by increasing oil price, very interesting! |

Hi Chaitee,
I like this kind of picture, playing with lights and vibrations.
The result is great !
Congratulations,
Christophe
Interesting photo and story about renting the taxi's.
Interesting experiment with the dancing lights, I may try the same myself.
Well done,
john
Very interesting- I like it. The bouncy waves make it look like an earthquake- or one of those cheesy futuristic TV shows where they beam people up and send them to some distant galaxy. But it looks really cool here. Great work!

Great to see you experimenting now that you have a digital camear! I like it. Very trippy and conveys motion very well. Good colors too. Nice job! JP
Doesn't work for me sorry, I like many blurry images but this one isn't one of them, it makes me feel like we are getting electricuted (but since it makes me feel something it's much better if it didn't do anything for me ;-).
Full marks for the experimenting and trying different things.
Peter
Chaitee,
Something explosion outside and in the car.
I think that expectation of the result is difficult.
good!
Thanks,
Taniguchi.
