This is priceless, Kevin! Hilarious expressions yu captured here, and plenty of them. To be fair, the graphic quality is not all it could be - sharpness, color tone, but not enough to seriously mar this delightful capture.
Cheers,
Francis

Hello. Wonderfully colourful and funny shot. The poor monk in front really seems to be suffering and not suffering quietly! I also find the faces and different ethnic backgrounds of the monks very interesting. Well seen and captured!

That's a great shot after TE's tradition of the world thru photography, Kevin. Nice presence of mind to see the scene that makes the shot, and could be News too. I could easily see this on first page of the Bangkok Post. You had a close brush with over-exposing the white faces, but hey, that's the idea behind the image, after all, over-exposition to hot white heat! The foreground monk seemed placed there to convey that moment even better. And i see that the only monk smiling, is probably from another tropical place, Sri Lanka (bottom right). Thanks for this one.

I really love your monk photos, Kevin.
You always seeem to catch much more than just a snapshot, and this is no exception.
Great dynamic in this image.
Pehaps it's a pity that the blue shirt is in there, but to tell the truth, I didn't even notice it at first because I was so taken up with the different expressions and poses of the monks. I would rather see it like this than for you to have miised it all together.
All the best,
Andrew.

TE is such a great site: I love the serendipity and how you can discover people and photos through clicking various links and comments.
I've found your photos through your critique of one of Kaj's photos - I liked the comment about feeling at home in the streets of Bangkok.
You've got a nice collection of photos - this one stood out for me - the colours and priceless expressions on their faces are incredible.
Nice one.
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
Interesting scene with different expressions. And well framed, clearly choosing the most suffering face as the main focal point, and slightly different expressions accompanying. I wonder what the guy with the tie would look like.
