[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is the annual festival at a tiny Taoist temple just outside the door of my apartment. These two men are spirit mediums who will be possessed by spirits, they say. Here they are standing beneath a pole of fire crackers exploding with smoke, fire and stunning noise all around. The noise was unbearable from the other side of the road. I don't know how their eardrums could survive the onslaught. later the boy became possessed by the spirit of the monkey god and the older one took on a deep voice and became an angry and haughty 'god' who gave instructions to the believes.

Hello Kevin

Good theme..informative and so unreal..Like the light that surrounds this place..the dof and layers could have been sharper..Must have been an unique experience waiting around

Overall a good finish..Seasosn Greetings :)

Bonsoir mon ami Kevin
I'm glad to see you're back!
The light going through the smoke is creating a special atmosphere and when I read your interesting note, I understand better why these two men are standing head down, in this posture! We can feel they are already possessed...I like the colors too!
Wish you all the best and hope you're fine ;)

Hi Kevin!
Nice to see you back in action! ;D
Noisy neighbors! Well caught action with firecracker debris flying all around and lots of smoke, increasing the 'festive'mood!
Greetings
Laurent

hi Kevin,
Nice to see you back with new photos !
This larger framing gives a comprehensive view of the action that I would spontaneaously associate with China rather than Thailand due to many typical elements, I like theclose view with the expressions as well.
Best wishes,
Jean-Yves

Hi Kevin!
That must be an amazing event, and very noisy too. I guess you captured the explosion very well.Nice and colourful scene, so full of action. Very well captured!

Hi Kevin,
Very unusual capture. the colours , smoke and the posture of the figures looks unique.

I like this kind of traditional occurrences. I have been to a Tibetan woman shaman twice, long ago. they fascinate me....
