| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Today is Asalapuja Day, one of the great Buddhist festivals. It commerates a story that a thousand holy monks arrived to hear the Buddha preach and, as he preached, angles appeared (Dewa) and then the whole universe appeared and then thousands of parallel universes and they all rejoiced in the words of the Dhamma. Today is a day of prayer for the peace and joy of the whole universe, all things living and not living, who ever were or who ever will be. This is a picture of the presiding monk at a ceremony at my local temple. |

Hi Kevin.. a very peaceful and serene picture.. u got the perfect ambience ffor this holy place.. why magenta color is more in this image ??
well framed, good exposition, but one has to regret the lack of sharpness.
PS: BTW, Dmamma? Is it Pali, or a typo for Dharma?

another shot of my favorite monk - the background is so interesting, I'm so sorry, he has not so good DOF.
But such a beautiful motive - I like it so much.
