[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today is Visaka Puja Day, (Buddha Day) The day, that Buddhists,all over the world, every year, celebrate the birth, enlightenment and passing away of the Lord Buddha. This is a picture taken at the celebrations, this evening, at my local temple in Bangkok.It shows a monk of the Mahayana Sect conducting the rites.(It's not a cell phone that he has, it's a radio microphone to amplify his chanting)

Nice shot, Kevin. I think your picture shows this has been a long stifling day for him, looking at the sweat on his front. It's hot in BKK now, for sure!

Vous êtes un maître-photographe de moines!
J'ai contemplé votre galerie et je suppose que vous avez bénéficié de permissions spéciales pour pouvoir capter certaines cérémonies, comme celle-ci.
Il est admirable d'y voir que la tête prosternée et la gestuelle sont dans le même angle, contribuant à l'excellente composition. Il va sans dire que la beauté de la couronne ajoute de l'éclat à cette photo.
