[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture about 2 hours ago. I quite like to post daily life pictures from the same day. This is a cut price bookstall opened at my university today. As usual, it attracted a lot of attention. Student monks, like students everywhere are always on the lookout for a bargain. This monk seems trying to decide whether to buy the book or not.
This re-post is in response the Herve's (kinginexile) wonderful critique (above). More critiques like that one and we would all improve quickly.I am well aware, however, of the shortcoming of this picture as well.

ANother excellent intimate look at everyday life amon the monks. very nice compo with the chap on the right so large in the frame. A very nice "catch of the day", kevin.
Thanks for that,
Francis

Hi Kevin
a fine angle to see them in perspective and here it is good that no one spotted you, all concentrated. Comparing with the original post I would say that undoing the grains improved the shot a lot, a slighter crop from bottom and left without correcting the tilt and colors, maybe only reducing the saturation of the very orange cloth, was also a choice I think, but it is a total other shot then original version, you could have done a normal post with a link too, I thought a repost was more meant as an improvement of formal shot.

Nice work indeed here Kevin. Very well worked out, with the detail in the thoughtful monks face, and the context shown slightly OoF behind.
