Not really a TE shot but…..I’ve been transiting through Bangkok for quite a while now, I always stay at the same hotel and they always give me the same room on the 34th floor. I’ve been watching the building next door to the hotel go up for the past three years. For no real reason I got back to the hotel early one afternoon and looked out the window. There was this long line of workers waiting for whatever, the first thought I had was…..maybe they only have two toilets down there (not unusual in Bangkok). Actually they were probably lined up waiting to get their pay. The toilet thing was much funnier though. All I had with me was my point and shoot Ricoh R7, couldn’t help myself.
Hope you enjoy the moment.

Peter,

Interesting shot which ever it is they are waiting for. That they are standing in line is very interesting...

Colors adn detail are nice and the S shape of the line is very enticing.

Greg

Interesting and funny.
The view from above, and the fact that they all have yellow helmets make the look like play-mobils

Peter,
Amusing? Yes. Not a TE shot? Absolutely a TE shot surely - I don't even understand your doubt on this one! People, work, daily life, call it what you will, and captured with an artisitc eye for pattern and detail. Well worth it.
Regards
Colin

Hola:
Curiosa fotografia que llama la atencion.

But it IS a TE shot, not one that will get a lot of comments, but it definitely belongs here, I wish there were more like this, not focusing on the technicality of an exposure or light, but just teaching us about the world and humaity on a different level. Having said that, this one accomplishes a discrete 2-in-1, the blue uniforms and the yellow hard hats DO have a significant photographic aspect, enough to make it publishable. It's not just another tourist snapshot of a funny mistranslated sign or menu.

I like the way you show us scenes with a quirky humor. I enjoyed reading your note once again, and graphically, I think it works well, with the long, bi-colored, double line of workers. Best regards,
Marine
