Photo of Wat Arun. The photo is of the Monkey God that hold the scaling tower of Wat Arun. The Temple of Sun or "Wat Arun" used to be the place where the Emerald Budha was hosted.

Hi Sudharshan. You had a good idea to frame your picture in a detail of Wat Arun and your picture works very well. Unfortunately it lacks sharpness and needs, I feel, a touch more contrast. However, this is not a monkey God, it is a garuda.
The garuda was the carrier of the god Vishnu: Rama in Thai mythology. So here he is carrying a Chedi, containing royal ashes. Also Wat Arun is the Temple of Dawn, not the sun; 'Arun meaning dawn. I look forward to seeing some more of your Thai pictures. Regards kevin
