[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the Buddist Temples near the main river flowing through the centre of Bangkok. WS has a close up of the main spire. The other tower in the background is the same size, which indicates the large site the Wat occupies. The temperature at the time, a public holiday was around 35 degrees C.

What is a Wat?
A Wat is a Thai Buddhist temple or monastery. In most cases it is not just one building, but a collection of buildings, shrines, and monuments within a courtyard that is enclosed by a wall.

Thanks to Siolaw for providing the name of this place.

Hello Murray! Wonderful perspective. Very interesting architecture. Good light and colors. Very good capture. Excellent composition. Good luck!

Hi, Murray,
what wonderful clear colors! So rich and beautifully saturated without being overdone. Excellent composition with the spire off centered, marvelous detail and an awesome sky. I love the contrasts in the bright red and orange against the cooler colors. Great shot! Many thanks and warmest wishes,
Shelly

Hi Murray,

The Buddist temples are impressive. The point of view is leading our eyes towards the tower of the temple. The trees are like guards in front of the temples. The light enhance the beauty of the colors. have a nice day.

Hi Murray, very nice lines seen in this shot of the Wat, (I learned something today). Colour is good with very good sharp detail seen in the shot. Your formating with the square crop works well in this shot.

Thanks, John

Hello Murray. You have captured the colorful roof of Thailand very well here with two striking towers balancing the shot. Nice shadow and light management with sharp image and stunning against that blue sky with thin cloud. Best regards. Jusni

Very interesting and unusual for Northern eyes structure! I like this shot very much, it's so very strange. Amount of details is amazing.

Hello Murray!

It looks like a small Eiffel tower, covered by many knars :)

Very strange and interesting thing, TFS!

Regards,
Igor

hello Murray

I really admire your array of photos all over the world to share what you see. This pov is superb from the river canal. Although the spire has been blocked at the base, the overall view is fantastic to show different archiecture and contrast. Great shot.

Hi Murray,
You got nice colors and sharp detail on this view across th river to Wat Arun, aka The Temple of Dawn. Off center framing works well here.
I have a theme on this temple and will add this ;D
Greetings
Laurent
