Photographer's Note

I continue my Songkran or Thai New Year series, with a proper water throwing scene, all day long pick up trucks full of people and loaded with barrels of water roam the streets in order to find some victims! But other groups wait for them and stop them for the same reason... One thing is certain, everyone has good fun and even though many of the men are seriously drunk, I did not witness any bad tempered behavior... Many road accidents happen, though during this festival...

Moment décisif ou vie quotidienne? En tous cas c'est très réussi, des visages expressifs, de l'eau bien figé, des couleurs bien rendues, on croirait participer à la scène.

Hi Lo,
Encore une scène bien mouillée où tu as pris des risques avec ta camera! Ils ont l'air de bien s'amuser et tu as su capter ce moment presque intime...J'aime beaucoup l'expression réjouie de la femme au t-shirt rouge. La lumière est superbe, les couleurs bien rendues et le cadrage adéquat :)

Olá Laurent, another cheerful scene of this series, with a pyramid of people gathering around the water jet. What first captured my attention is the way those wet back in the middle shines under the sunlight, but than, I discovered the lady in red next to him. Shes's the one that makes this photo more enjoyable :)

Bonjour laurent, l’effet débordement et festif atteint là son apogée cette photo n°2 des festivités Thaïes explose sous ton objectif, je ne sais si l’eau est férigineuse pour que certain arrive à s’enivré, mais l’ivresse collective passe de manière fort éloquente à l’image, bien amicalement
