A Japanese traveller takes a step away from the tourist saturated Palaces and Temples, and find the old streets of Bangkok nearby. I think she was like us perhaps, looking for something that meant..Bangkok somehow..
The labyrinth of alleys and old wooden food stalls, rotting from the humid rains, the multiple floods from the river, the smells of fish freshly caught, of spices having their scents released from the hot oil of fry pans, the sense of chaos, the curiosity of the locals when they see stray travellers such as this walking about, curious, finding something different so near to the tourist sites.
