A hearty smile from a vendor on the Klongs (canals) of the old part of Bangkok, where life continues remarkably at a traditional pace.
I bought a beer form her and gave it to our long boat driver to drink later.
They call Thailand The Land of Smiles for good reason..

a charming portrait of this smiling women, it made my day become brighter straight away. Thai people are so frindly and smily, so their reputation is no myth. Great capture and a good idea to bring it on in black and white.

i visited thailand a week ago and i was carried away by their hospitality .. surely is the land of smiles to win your heart ..

Hi Justin ,

firstly save your money for a nice trip to South America you will love it.
Now this is a very good portrait of the extremely happy lady - I think if it was me I would keep my lips together ha! ha!
The choice of black & white is very good - I really like this photo showing an image of what daily life is like on the river.
