Photographer's Note

A constellation of lights that I enjoyed standing on our suite balcony at Lebua which offered great views of Bangkok at night.

7 floors beneath my feet I could also watch the colorful activity at the Breeze, an open-air restaurant on the 52 floor with a spectacular glass sky-bridge suspended mid-air for their guests to enjoy the view.
From my point of view the glowing sky-bridge and its reflection in the mirror wall formed a great pattern with the motorway below.
The bridge gradually changes its color from blue to turquoise then crimson, bright red and orange, so when it turns orange it completely merges with the motorway and they come as one. The sight is really great, I just chose this version with the blue bridge to show the difference.

Just 4 floors above me was another Lebua's landmark - Sirocco, the world's highest open air rooftop restaurant on the 63d floor which was instrumental in setting the stage for the panoramic scenes of Bangkok in The Hangover movie.

nice to see your new photos.This one is awesome!It has everything a great night photo should has.The city looks so vibrant here.The mixture of different colors is really eye-catching.I like especially the blue illuminated path below,which contrast so well with the rest of composition.The scene is excellently composed and framed.I like it!

Hello Marina - A fantastic shot of a fantastic city ... one of my personal favourites! This conveys all the glitz of the big hotels and bustle of the never-sleeping city. A very good composition, I love the way you have lined up the line of blue lights with the line of the highway below. A strong presentation and one which lures me back to SE Asia. Fabulous night shot so well lit and the obvious good framing, but also good depth, lead through and awesome warm ranges of colours so well set off to distant night sky. The glowing blue in the fg helps to lift the image enormously which guides all the way diagonally and what a feel of height. This is a fine effort and so well taken, Congrats.

Hello Marina,

Okay, the picture has noice, but luckily the picture
has also a lots of details and that covers the noice.
You choose a great point of view, the diagonal blue
light line wil be nicely follwed bij de yellow
diagonal line (the street) and that creates a very
nice depth (and the vertical position emphasize that
extra). Composition and light management are also
great.
