| When you find a ancient piece of art with some part missing, then you assume it's just time passing by or an accident. When you see a sequence of them then you wonder if there is a different story behind. This picture was taken in Wat Yai Chai-mongkol in Ayuthaya, Thailand, and I was trying to capture the feeling of having a sequence of statues that suffered the same at some moment. I failed to ask what happened, but it still makes me wonder. |
