A short series of pictures during a visit to Bang Pa-in palace in Thailand, some 33 miles (55 kilometres) north of the capital Bangkok.
Here is some information from Wikipedea:
Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, also known as the Summer Palace, is a palace complex formerly used by the Thai kings. The palace is located on the Chao Phraya River bank in Bang Pa-In district, Ayutthaya Province
King Prasat Thong originally constructed the complex in 1632, and though it lay empty and overgrown throughout the late 18th and early 19th centuries, King Mongkut began to restore the site in the mid-19th century. Most of the present buildings were constructed between 1872 and 1889 by King Chulalongkorn.
The facilities include vast gardens and landscaping, Wehart Chamrunt (Heavenly Light), a Chinese-style royal palace and throne room; the Warophat Phiman (Excellent and Shining Heavenly Abode), a royal residence; Ho Withun Thasana (Sages' Lookout), a brightly painted lookout tower; and the Aisawan Thiphya-Art (Divine Seat of Personal Freedom), a pavilion constructed in the middle of a pond.
The palace and grounds are largely open to visitors, as King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family use it only rarely for banquets and special occasions.

The strongly positioned tree produces a good sense of depth and makes a very natural lead across the water to the colourful palace.
Lovely soft light and delightful reflections.
Are those shrubs cut into the shapes of rabbits?
They certainly give that appearance.
Have a lovely w/e,

l'architettura è originale ed è ben messa nella composizione, dove si ammira questo bellissimo parco, con tanto di laghetto con riflesso.

Another beautiful view of the picturesque Thailand.
Good POV and composition, beautiful pastel colors, good sharpness.

the immaculately laid out and well tended gardens complement the muted colours of the Palace ever so well.
The trunk of the tree which provides such a good frame has real interest of it`s own.

I specially enjoyed the colors, chosen pov and composition with just one but: maybe it'd be nice to include more of that tower on the right!
TFS - congrats,

J'aime beaucoup le cadrage ainsi que le point de vue avec ce bel arbre sur la droite, par contre, je ne suis pas certain au niveau de la texture de l'image ainsi que du rendu des couleurs.

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The distance between the tree in the foreground and the palace is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the details and colours of the palace. Have a nice day.

really like this composition, it is so well balanced and a fascinating mix of lines and colours both man-made and organic. Looks so peaceful and beautiful in this subtle and perfectly managed light. Captivating!
Have a great weekend - Brian.

Thats a very interesting structure, looks almost modern, but I think that may be down to its colours rather than design. Nice idea to include the tree in the right foreground too, giving great depth to the scene.
These look like particularly beautiful gardens, and lots of colour and life abound in your shot.
All the best
