Delicate Touch

There really ought to be a "Religious" category. Can we campaign for one to be added?
This is one of the Buddha images that line the much-photographed courtyard of Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. Thought I'd go for a close-up for a different perspective (though of course I also took the traditional angles showing the rows of saffron-robed Buddhas). |

Hello Charlotte,
Through this image, I am just discovering your gallery and work and found a lot of very interesting shots. I like this one a lot and the very delicate and soft impression it is giving. Bright idea and great realisation.
Have a nice day.
Best regards, Christian

Hi Charlotte,
As your title says, it has that mood... a delicate touch..
The saffron in the diagonal pattern, the flowers( "Paala poove", as we call here in Kerala)and the key source of light that creates a shade to the b/g makes a beautifull composition. It's always a new outlook that generates the sense, more than the traditional angles used many times...
The next part is to say my wishes for the question you raise in notes. I think YES, there ought to be a religious category too. This can be discussed in the Forum, isn't it? Please put up the concept there for the members to say honestly.
Take care.
Warm regards,
jp
Hi Charlotte
Photograph already in my favorite. Expensive not paid for the result. There is many photographs with incredible scores and which however do not have the quality of your photograph. It is to be that the relational one of TE. Damage for quality if that must passed afterwards. All carefully in this composition, the hand, sands it, the flower, nothing to repeat. It is quite simply very tenderness.
Thank's for the sharing
