This picture was taken at the hall of Wat Phanan Choeng, the temple were you can find the gigantic bronze Buddha in Ayutthaya.

It was an overwhelming experience to here these monks chanting and see stunning golden larger than life Buddha images in this such a big hall.

I took 12 shot of this at different angle and ISO settings...crawling (i have to be quite). This seems to be the best picture.

Buddhism In Thailand - Source Wikipedia
Thai Buddhism was based on the religious movement founded in the sixth century B.C. by Siddhartha Gautama Sakyamuni, later known as the Buddha, who urged the world to relinquish the extremes of sensuality and self-mortification and follow the enlightened Middle Way. The focus of this religion is on man, not gods; the assumption is that life is pain or suffering, which is a consequence of craving, and that suffering can end only if desire ceases. The end of suffering is the achievement of nirvana (in Theravada Buddhist scriptures, nibbana), often defined as the absence of craving and therefore of suffering, sometimes as enlightenment or bliss.

Hi Miguel,
Excellent capture. The nicely executed exposure represents the gorgeous mood of the monastry. The pink light from the left side of the monk gives a warm feeling. Great job.
Best wishes,
Sumit

Hi, Miguel -

I didn't think you would be allowed to take pictures during a temple service. Thai rules must be different. And you took great advantage of the opportunity. There is a lot going on here, but it holds together. Great light management, too - you managed to show the interior without blowing out the bit of outside light at the window.

Regards,
Dan

Difficult to capture the serene mood inside of this temple, but your experimentation worked, Miguel. This result brings the serene atmosphere across. The light falling in from the open window is a good touch.

Hugs

Une superbe lumiere et une exposition superbe, Bravo

Hi Miguel:

A beautiful image with religious meaning.

Despite the low light exists, the details are displayed properly across the stage, forming an estimated membership. Good POV and perfect balance in the frame.

Hi Miguel,
Wonderfully clear colors and intricate details to this temple shot in such difficutlt indoor lighting. Excellent depth, sharpness and lovely intricate details.
Regards, Tom

Very impressive atmosphere, we do get the feeling to stay quiet in order not to disturb the solemn moment.
A Wide angle works wonder in such decorated buildings, especially with the low POV necessary to ensure we're respecting our surroundings.
the priests seem a bit blurry, were they moving at the time of this shot?
It does give them a sense of motion and life though.

Hello Miguel. I like the ambiance of the interior with excellent sharpness and detail. Intricate design well displayed in the image. Thanks for sharing and well done. Jusni
