Photographer’s Note
I enjoyed a lot the great friendliness of Tajik people: everywhere they were so nice and welcoming.
I had nice moments while visiting the bustling Hissar bazar.

Nice image. I like the bright colour of the meat, contrasting with the totally white wall.
Well done.

Ciao Luca, foto stupenda e titolo perfetto. sembra veramente soddisfatto della sua sfilata di costine e di tagli vari che penzolano dai ganci!
ottima composzione, colori, luce e fuoco.
grazie, ciao

hi Luca. Good portrait of the butcher, surrounded by his proud work. I love tajikistan, and I agree, the people are so friendly and open. Good exposure, too.

Ciao Luca,
I totally dislike meat ... but, with your picture, you succeed to keep my eye on it, and enjoy the pride of this generously fat man. This is the magic of photography, or better said, of photographs like you: get a vibration from the subject and stick it there, for ever, on the flat image for others to share. You are DEFINITELY one of those happy few. Un lovoro stupendo, Luca, come sempre.
Adesso o voglia di ... non mangiare la carne, no! , ma propio di andare a Tajikistan! --amz

i jut love market shots! a very nice portrait of this man and his merchandise here. his pose shows off his pride in his work. the slight blueish hue works well, the numbers on the white tile are a strong element. handheld (i guess) at 1/25, resulted in very good quality too. nice work.

Ciao Luca,
Complimenti e ciao.

Great picture Luca,
The people look indeed very friendly, although he is still a butcher... Not an already picture, very nice to see something different, and well taken.

Good use of the fish-eye here
I like the "landscape" of meat mixed with the relaxed attitude of the butcher
Well done

Glad I saw this picture, especially in now that Tajikistan is receiving more publicity. Interesting location, well photographed.

Luca: another interesting one, with the contrast between narrow slices of meat and the portly butcher. That's the catch in this shot for me. regards, c
