We’re heading for Varzob District going back up Varzob river that has cut a gorge through the mountains. Noisy, blue, sparkling, it rushes past in the opposite direction going about its own important business of supplying 50 per cent of the capital Dushanbe with its generous flood and powering a hydroelectric plant in the process.
Near Varzob some pleasant chaikhana are built just on the edge of the turbulence waters of Varzob to give some refreshments to the citizen of the capital.
This farmer was just coming down from his fields steep up on the mountains that overlooking the Varzob valley.

You remind me of my own home land farmers, truly original captured, with good colours, sharpness and composition and you did perfectly the composed of farmer and the background, great work.

Hi Luca. good framing of this portrait, with his land and his tool, it gives a great sense of his environment and work. it is a pitty the light is working against you and it is slightly out of focus.

Great shot. Love the DOF and subtle greens of the background. The farmers face add a great deal of interest.

nice portrait, his expression is nice, it is not as clear though and the shovel seems overexposed. Nevertheless it is a good image. Thanks for sharing.
