After overcoming the Turkestan Range through the Obburdon Pass (3961 m above the sea level) along an unpaved but pretty good motor road, we got into the Zaravshan River Valley, where the Obburdon (or Oburdan) Kishlak (Village) seen in the picture is situated. This is the westernmost part of Kuhistoni Mastchoh District, whose capital is the village of Mehron. In the background, snow-covered mountains of the Zarafshan Mountain Range are seen.

Zdravo Sergiy. What an intrepid traveler you are and it seems to me that you heed the call of the mountains, wherever they may be.And this part of the world is absolutely stunning. What amazing topography and proof of the resilience of human beings to be eking an existence in such a place. I presume that a river must be running through the valley. Thanks for showing us a place that we can only imagine. Pozdrav. Klaudio. (I see that you have escaped the plague that hit parts of Tajikistan.)

What remarkable topography, and yet the variation appears to be organized, with the pyramidal tufa rock formations all along the valley, the desolate mountains rising endlessly on the two sides of V-shaped valley, and in th distance the soaring mountains. The expansive view reveals the rugged and yet clean lines of the landscape.
Warm regards, Sergiy,

still undiscovered by a mass tourismus country, but as your photo shows so beautiful!
I like your wider, more panoramic vision of this scene-works well with mountains and the valley in the FG.
The view is truly magnificent! But furthermore you youre able to bring out so many different details in best quality and colors. So we can really enjoy the scene!
Have a nice evening

Great contrast in this extraordinary landscape, among the lush green valley with the aridity of the mountains that surrounds it, but by no means are less nice and superb in its rugged beauty.
Those distant summits give great DOF on the composition.
Great day it gives a nice color.
Very good also the sharpness and brightness.
Have a good day, my friend.

What a wonderful and spectacular landscape!
A nice strong contrast between the brown arid mountain slopes and the green fertile valley.
The picture has a good depth.
Best regards, Paul

Excellent photo. The perfectly lighted hills are the main focal point of this photo. There is a great use of depth of field to hold the viewer in the foreground green fields as well as brown hills and white mountains in BG and the excellent lighting conditions have allowed for very good color saturation. The overall impact is very strong. Very well done.

very nice this endless and beautiful view with the rock formations in the valley as the green areas of it to make the image so inviting and interesting.I like the excellent light and colour management with the upper parts of the Mts to are so arid.
