Photographer's Note

Leaved Dushanbe quite early in the morning.
The road fastly wedged in the mountains of Pamir range running alongside the foaming Varzob river.
Majestic landscapes please my eyes along the way. The road became worst climbing up between the mountains up to Anzob pass at an altitude of 3373mt.
Views are wide on mountains covered of snow that master over villages of sheperd and farmers.
Children along the way sell mushrooms and local made cheese.
Anzob pass is still covered of snow. Then the dusty bone shaking road lead down towards the valley below to reach some chaikhanas, pleasant oasis where one can find fresh beer to rinse the dusty throat and where drivers that come from the other direction take time to fill radiator of their cars before the steep ascent.
