Yellow lanterns are characteristic for the time of celebration of a Chinese New Year. Red colour is supposed to symbolize fortune.

Hello Travis,
A good lead-in to the ancient temple, colourful even with only a few colours!
Scenery is well framed and has good lines, sharp fine details...
A teeny-weeny clockward tilt!

Hi Travis,
You got some nice photo's from Taiwan, I do get a good idea about what can be seen. I like this shot for it's POV. I do have an advice for you. I see many photo's from you which are tilted, just like this one. Almost all harbour shots are not horizontal. So either postproces them or better when shooting :-).
