This is another picture from my trip to Tainan. We were visiting the Two Towers (Yes, there are two towers there) and this man was demonstrating his art. Here he is painting some circular sunsets. But his real art was much more interesting. He picked up stones, looked at their shape, grooves, angles, and painted a scene on them making the ridges and stuff part of the painting. One had mountain climbers and it really looked like they were climbing a mountain. Another showed a train coming out of a tunnel which was actually a circular depression in the rock. They were very wonderful souvenirs.
I really like the deep orange of his skin next to the blue of his shirt. I don't like that there's not much light on his paintings and hand, but that's just where the sun was at that time. Nothing I could do about that.
Anyway, the only post editing I did was adjust the levels to make it a bit brighter. I think it could still be a little bit brighter.
So, let me know what you think and what I could do better!
Thanks for looking!

I think you did a nice job composing this photo. We can see the concentration on the artist's fac, and I like seeing him actually in the act of applying a stroke. The slight blur of the background makes the subject stand out well. Yes, the man's face is a bit orange, but as you mentioned, the sun was responsible for that. :-)

Hi Brent, I think that the angle of view is not good to take this shot, you should maybe go behind the painting and take his face or something, it is a bit flat like this...
