Photographer’s Note
It's 30 minutes after sun had set when I arrived this coast. The light was fading very fast and the tide was getting higher.
Soon I decided to use the water reflection of clouds and the big rock in photo composition.
Luckily I found some sea trenches to build a mirror for the reflection before it became totally dark. The big rock was placed above the middle of this photo to get a composition balance. And the lamppost light made the rock orange.
What made this rock get Richard Nixon's head as its name? Just look at the shape of it and you can get the answer.

Hi Jim,
I´m not sure whether Richard Nixon would agree with this name ... it´s a very doubtful honor to have a rock named after his head ...
Anyway, the colors are just stunning. A wonderful late evening mood.

Beautiful picture. Good composition and warm colours. Too bad about Nixon's head. Cheers.
