Photographer’s Note
About this photo:
Visiting this location a couple times, never got the right moment. Anyway really paid for my patience today.
Colorful sunset and the brilliant lights from the houses were ready and lit the foreground up. The tides were low and made me safe to setup the tripod, though it was windy. A blurring island at the far distance, which is left "foot" of southern Taiwan and called Maobitou, provided a bonus for this photo. Enjoy.

Location information:
Chuanfanshih is well known for a piece of coral reef rock that broke off from a nearby
tableland, which looks like a sailing ship
from a distance, and resembles the profile of
former U.S. President Richard Nixon when viewed up close.
But another side of view was showed instead of this special rock in this photo.

Hi Jim.
A nice shot here. The colors are good and a nice reward for your patience. I would suggest cropping a bit of the top as the colors aren't that impressive up there. I made a WS.

A beautiful sunset. You are really awarded for your patience. The effect of sky light on the water appears to me as a painting.

A lovely job on this one Jim, all things came together nicely for you that day, the sunset amazing, tide is right and the sea nice and calm. So many considerations when getting coastal shots, but i find no matter what the day there is always something to shoot. I go to a local beach every day at dusk, and every day the condition are different so every day there is a different shot to be had. No one place is ever really the same when you look at it like this.
Anyway excellent low light seascape, jez.
