Photographer’s Note
I took this today at Bitan/Green Lake just outside of Taipei. Today was a great day, not too hot and a nice cool breeze, at least to me. For a lot of the locals, they probably were complaining about the cold (mid 20s). Anyways, a good reason to catch up on some of my favorite subjects.
ISO 200, handheld, uncropped, 135mm focal length, normal PS processing.

Hi Darren, I'm so impressed often by the way you render these old people, full of care, you want to portray them as beautiful as possible, maybe your nature to be a perfectionist, but somehow I feel so much respect. And maybe these are just my own feelings, when seeing your photo's, and I can't help it, but I really, really love them.

natural shallow DOF from a manual camera does beat the PS made ones :o) This is very good, the details in the mans face and on the chessboard are really nice, and this seems very candid, which I like ;o)
