Portraits are not always received unanimously on TE, it's too bad, yours (er...hers :-) ) is qite striking, what life history in all these wrinkles. Nicely shrap too.

A great portrait. Lots of great detail on this very interesting face. I particularly like the angle of her head, it adds to the sense of gentleness or softness of your shot. In all a very natural portrait. Well done!

Hi Leslie. Nice capture, interesting subject. It looks good as is, but I think it might work better a little tighter on the right, with more room on the left. Good use of DOF.

Fine details of the facial impression of the elderly lady whom poses as your model. The details are so "dept" and well expressed.

Lovely photo. The portraits are, I think, much more difficult of do that many people can think.
The kids many times are used in the portraits (they give something special to the photo). But a portrait like this is also special: is an old woman that really seems happy. And this is a very important lesson: you can be an old man and be happy at the time.

C'est un vrai portrait la personnalité du sujet saute aux yeux. C'est un genre beaucoup plus difficile qu'il n'y paraît. Celui-ci est une réussite.
