Photographer’s Note
Puppet play is an old tradition in Taiwan. A master controls a puppet’s movements by putting his hand in it. Each finger is in charge of different parts of the puppet: index finger for the head; thumb and the other three for the arms.
I found these puppets in a recent trip. A puppet at the left-bottom corner was isolated and had different view direction from others. I liked its facial expression. Also the colors of their clothes enriched the photo a lot.
