Hello TE travellers!

Feels good to post after nearly 10 months. Been away for a variety of reasons including work, shifting from city to city et al.

This is near a Buddhist temple in Colombo. There is a lake opposite the temple where there is a rectangular area on the bank, the four sides of which are "dotted" with these statues. In the centre there ia a room which I assume is a prayer hall. It was a very captivating place...serene and calm with the water flowing around with ducks, pelicans and other water birds.

All in frame objects are deliberate as I thought it would add to the mood of the shot I was trying to convey, i.e Buddhas all around. Hope it does. Comments always welcome

My trip to Sri Lanka was all the more special because I was meeting one of my best friends after more than two year. This is for you Guha for the time we had in Colombo.

Good to see you back Guru...been a long time. Where are you based now? Hyderabad? Showing the row of the idols of Lord Buddha s quite effective with your shallow DOF. But IMO, moving one step to the left to have the statues more visible, especially the ones in the BG & also a slightly more open DOF could have made this better. A very nice work nonetheless, look fwd. for more posts from you

Angshu
Will be back :)
