She looked in through the bus window

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the illustration of a travel myth. Travel is about meeting other people, it can be for a couple of days, a few hours, three minutes of just the time of a glimpse.
A traveler's view is the eyes of a girl (or a boy) seen a few seconds through the window of another bus, ferry, train or plane.
Anyway, I might have dreamt, that's just Kandy's central bus station and my shadow, in a bad hair day.
(I should not wear my sunglasses on my head, or was I sleeping the pillow over my head, well, maybe I shouldn't have asked the hairdresser etc, etc.)

Excellent composition and your note is the clincher for me. Hey, where is your polarizer? :)
This is great, Luko. The sun reflecting close to her face is nice as well as your, well, shadow. Nice hair, BTW. :-)
PS: I agree with you about the travel myth. Thanks for your interesting notes that make your images a cut above the rest.

Luko, I am a big fan of yours, there is no doubt. If you were someone else, I would likely not be as critical, but for me, this does not work at all. The idea is fine I believe, but unfortunately, the harsh reflection that obscures the face ruins this one for me. I know what it is like to be travelling, and catch a glimpse of someone through a bus window, and wonder if you will ever meet again, or even if you will ever meet for the first time. I believe your shot has been effective at portraying that, and I do like the shadow, whether it is yours or someones else's. However, I just can't get past the reflection, I am sorry. It is just my opinion Luko, but this just does not live up to the quality I expect of you. With other photographers, I would likely be more forgiving.
One I Missed and more to come. I love this shot.. May be because I have so many pictures of buses like this. It's lovely the way she is looking at you.. The shadow is also worthwhile.
Nice shot Luko.
This is very close, you know, to an Alex Majoli shot from Abifjan I believe taken with a little Olympus 5050... Very close indeed. The shadow is Luko, right? Fine shot with your R5 while it was still kicking...;o)
